I prefer Songza, which aggregates seeqpod, YouTube, and imeem to form a fairly exhaustive catalog
Seeqpod's API is awesome though. It has mp3 and video search, as well as a music recommendation engine ("if you like X, you'll like Y"). I have't built anything using the recco engine, but I've found the audio and video search API to be very reliable.
I listen to hip hop. First time I read about Madlibs I was like "hmmm, interesting name, I wonder if…noo". hehe personally..I think you got it all wrong. shoulda been: Wu-nderful, Dilla-lightful, Big, Notorious Content Development…for your Soul.
